Summer Reading and Math Challenges

We are pleased to share information with you about

summer reading and mathematics as we gear up for the summer months!

NPS Summer Reading Challenge

In partnership with our public library and the Governor’s Reading Challenge, Read Beyond the Beaten Path & The Norwalk Public Library's Oceans of Possibilities begins on June 15th for readers of all ages.

Students should register at norwalkpl.beanstack.com to log their reading and earn badges for raffle prizes!  Beanstack has an app if students want to keep track on their phones!

Videos in English and Spanish are available ( EnglishVideo & Vídeo Español) to help introduce the program to your student. This opportunity will also be posted on the public library’s website, and will  be shared in the district newsletters.

The suggested summer reading lists are here but students can read anything they enjoy. We hope all students will take some opportunities to Read Beyond the Beaten Path (Governor's Reading Challenge) and enjoy the Oceans of Possibilities (Norwalk Public Library) of new and exciting books!

Happy Reading!
