Norwalk Public Schools recently became aware that a program on the Disney-owned ABC network, "American Housewife," repeatedly targets students in Norwalk with insults and derogatory comments. Set in Westport, the show is now in its second season, and includes Norwalk as the subject of many "jokes" about our community.

Norwalk Superintendent of Schools Dr. Steven Adamowski strongly believes that this portrayal of Norwalk students is demeaning and divisive.

Please take a moment to click below and read the letter that Dr. Adamowski has sent to executives at ABC Entertainment and Kapital Entertainment, the creators and producers of this prime time program.
