Modern Schools for a Growing City, Family & Community Survey: A New School in South Norwalk
Escuelas Modernas para una Ciudad en Creciemiento. Encuesta de Evaluación Familiar y Comunitaria
This survey will close on Wednesday, November 23 at 12 noon. Thank you for your input.
All Norwalk students deserve access to safe and attractive schools that support learning and provide a nurturing, inclusive environment. Yet with Norwalk's school-age population projected to increase steadily in the coming years, our schools are on the verge of running out of space. As a result, Norwalk needs to create new schools, either by new construction, or by renovating or expanding existing buildings.
Based on the amount of space needed and the limited vailability of property currently owned by the City, the site of the former Nathaniel Ely School and the current Columbus Magnet School are the only current options for adding more school space in South Norwalk.
Before any decisions are made, the Norwalk Board of Education wants to hear what you think. Please click on the link below to take a brief survey. We value your input. Thank you.
